Privacy
Last updated 7 October 2026
Short version: this website counts visits without cookies, and the apps send what you say and show to the AI provider you pick, with your own key. Your memory and history stay on your PC. Nothing is sold.
3rigx (“we”) runs this website and the 3rigx apps for Windows and Android. Contact: support@3rigx.com.
This website
The site sets no cookies for visitors and runs no third-party analytics or ads. For each page view, download and click through to Google Play it records:
- the page, and the website you came from (its address only, such as reddit.com);
- your country, worked out by our host, Cloudflare, from your connection (your IP address itself is not stored);
- whether you're on a desktop, phone or tablet, from your browser's description of itself;
- an anonymous code that is the same for you all day and changes completely at midnight UTC, so a visitor is counted once a day and can't be followed from one day to the next.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, page views aren't counted at all. These records are kept for about 13 months, then deleted automatically. Only the owner of 3rigx can see the totals.
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes every request under its own privacy policy.
What the apps hear and see
- The microphone. The Android app listens while 3rigx is awake, both in hands-free mode and in hold-to-ask mode (where he listens quietly and answers only when you hold the screen). What it hears goes to the voice provider you chose, OpenAI or Google. He stops listening when he dozes off after a few quiet minutes, when you put him to sleep, or when you press MIC/OFF on the Mini avatar. Silent mode uses typing instead.
- The camera is only used to scan the pairing code. The code is read on the phone, and no picture leaves it.
- Your PC screen. 3rigx doesn't record your screen. He takes a look only when he needs to: to answer about something on it, to point at something, or to do a step of a task. A look is a screenshot plus the text and controls Windows reports for that screen, and it goes to your AI provider.
- Clicking and typing. He only acts on your PC when Computer control is on, within the Explain, Draft or Act rules you set for each app and site. An action history on your PC records which tool he used, on what and the outcome, but not the text he typed.
- Things you share. When you share text, a link or an image to 3rigx from another Android app, it waits on the phone until you send it to your PC's task team or discard it.
Where it goes
- Your phone and PC talk to each other over your own network, on an encrypted link that only your paired PC can answer.
- Your AI provider. When you talk to 3rigx or give him a job, your voice, what you type, what you share and his looks at your screen go to the AI provider you chose (for example OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or Groq), using your own key and under that provider's terms. They don't pass through us, and we can't see them.
- Web research and his browser. When he looks something up or works on a website, he uses his own browser window with a separate 3rigx profile. Sites you sign in to there keep their own cookies in that profile, on your PC.
- Update checks ask for the latest public release (currently from GitHub). They send the app's version, with no account, key or device identifier.
- Google Play handles the Android app's installs and updates under Google's own policies.
What's stored on your devices
- On your PC (in your Windows user folder, under
AppData\Local\3rigx): your settings; your AI keys and your 3rigx sign-in, both encrypted by Windows for your user account; his memory of you (About you); profiles and routines; up to 100 finished jobs in task history; the action history; and his browser profile. - On your phone: the pairing details for your PC, his look and your settings, and anything you've shared to him but not yet sent. The phone only receives short-lived session keys, never your AI keys.
We can't see any of this. Removing 3rigx from a device and deleting that folder removes it.
Your account and payments
- Your 3rigx account. To subscribe, you create an account in the Windows app with an email address and a password. Our billing server keeps your email, a secure hash of your password (never the password itself), your sign-in sessions, your PayPal subscription and its status, and the payments and refunds PayPal reports for it. That's what lets your apps check whether you have access.
- PayPal handles checkout and payments under its own privacy statement. We never see your card or bank details.
- Keeping it. Your account is kept while you have one. Ask us to delete it at any time; we'll keep only the payment records the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
Questions
Email support@3rigx.com. You can ask what's held about you, have it corrected, or have your account deleted. The website's visit records can't be tied to a person, so usually there's nothing to find there.
